Biography

Shogo KIRIYAMA

Sound Artist, Accordion, Accordina, and Multi-Percussion Player, Songwriter.

He is a graduate of the Faculty of Letters at Kyoto University.

His accolades include the Espoir Prize in the Folk Instruments Division at the 21st Osaka International Music Competition (for Accordina), 3rd Prize at the 2nd JILA Percussion Competition, and participation in the Asian Youth Orchestra. In recent years, he has also performed at various festivals, including hoshioto 2022 and the Shizuoka Daidogei Festival 2023. His activities in 2025 include an artist residency at Center (Kanuma City, Tochigi Prefecture)and participation in the Micro Art Workation program (Arts Council Shizuoka).

His musical activities are extensive, ranging from acoustic performances that leverage classical music interpretations and a percussive groove, to energetic artistic creations utilizing digital equipment, ambient sounds, and sampling techniques.

サウンドアーティスト、アコーディオン・アコーディナ・打楽器奏者、ソングライター。

京都大学文学部卒業。第21回大阪国際音楽コンクール民族楽器部門にてアコーディナでエスポアール賞受賞のほか、第2回JILA打楽器コンクール3位入賞、Asian Youth Orchestra参加。その他、hoshioto2022や静岡大道芸フェスティバル2023など様々なフェスに参加。2025年にはCenter（栃木県鹿沼市）での滞在制作のほか、マイクロアートワーケーション（アーツカウンシルしずおか）に参加。

クラシック音楽的な解釈と打楽器的なグルーブを活かしたアコースティックな演奏のほか、デジタル機器や環境音、サンプリング音などを駆使した表現やアート制作も精力的に行っている。
